WHAT CAN I BUY
In essence, you can buy anything you want, but the trick is that only citizens who buy the shipments of low value, and non-commercial nature, in total value of up to 50 US dollars, are exempt from paying customs duties, but not the payment of VAT.
A lot of people mostly do not know, and often happens that react violently because of the amount of import duty to be paid in customs, and that sometimes people complaining about the amount charged for "customs duties" and that their customs duties are not charged but they paid VAT.
If you order goods from abroad more expensive than 50 US dollars, you are in trouble!
Payment of VAT are exempt only those citizens who receive a shipment from abroad worth up to 70 euros and that of other private individuals, without the obligation to pay.
This means that customs duties on a consignment which does not exceed the said value will not only pay you if such an item from a friend or relative from abroad.
